India enforces Child Labor laws: In recent news, India is finally trying to enforce the dormant child labor laws. Many people, including social groups and artists, have tried to bring awareness to this issue but, according to the California Sports Club and the Diamond Club of California’s representatives, none of them could make as big of difference as Manmohan Waris. Manmohan Waris first sang a very emotional song about child labor in Punjabi Virsa 2005 London Live. Since then he’s been trying, on stage and behind the scenes, to get some actual work done on the issue. Finally, the government of Punjab has released a statement that all who employ a child under the age of 14 will be actively pursued and punished. Exuberant Manmohan Waris fans have decided that they will honor Manmohan Waris for his humanitarian work.
