Manmohan Waris, Kamal Heer and Sangtar wrap up their 34 city Punjabi Virsa 2006 tour. During this tour they visited 7 European cities, 8 Canadian cities, 16 USA cities and 3 cities in the continent of Australia. This was the biggest and most stretched out tour they have done to date. Many of the shows were partially recorded and hours of behind the scenes video has been recorded. We are condensing it to a manageable size and are putting it on Punjabi Virsa 2006 DVD. You can order a copy of that video here. Punjabi’s all across the globe have shown a great enthusiasm for the artists. Arriving home from the last show Sangtar has released the following statement, “We had a wonderful time meeting amazing people all over the world. We have gained a lot of respect for our fans and above all we have gained a few life long friendships out of this tour. We are entertainers, expecting a social change from an entertainer is a far stretch, but when we hear that our songs and music have effected society positively, it makes it all worth while. We thank all those who came to our shows and all those who have supported us throughout our careers."
